I've been skating for 9 months and weigh 115 lbs. This wheel was my first upgrade and I love them! they are lighter than the Radar's I had before and grippier on the polished concrete we skate on. I've worn them on wood and sports court floors too, and found them to be much grippier there. Even still, they didn't slow me down as much as Atom Poisons have. These wheels are perfect for a lighter weight skater since it only has a tri-hub. The thin uerothane makes the wheel lighter and it is narrow, making a huge difference when skaking through a pack. I recommend this 'hybrid' wheel to any jammer that is lighter weight!!
