Decent but not without problems

Overall, they're a decent boot for the price. Those who remember the original 265 speed boot won't be overly impressed with this version.
That being said, they have a short break in time and are suitable for most derby players. Be aware that this is the only Riedell boot with elastic tongue straps. These can and have caused foot cramping for a number of skaters and are unnecessary as there are tongue slots to lace through if desired. Some, including myself, have cut out the elastic tongue straps which has no negative effect on the boot and subsequently will eliminate the foot cramps caused by the elastic.
